Women's Bible Studies

We offer women's bible studies on Monday nights at 6pm and on Tuesday mornings at 11am beginning September 22, 2008. Both groups meet at the church building and are currently studying "Slightly Bad Girls Of The Bible:Flawed Women Loved By A Flawless God" by Liz Curtis Higgs. Jodie Lamon teaches these groups. United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

A member of United Methodist Women is anyone who commits herself to the PURPOSE and chooses to belong. United Methodist Women celebrates an inclusive membership and welcomes all women who want to become members.

Being a member of The United Methodist Church is not required nor is there any minimum age requirement. Out of a commitment for mission locally and globally with women, children and youth, United Methodist Women choose to participate in meetings, prayer, financial giving, study, action and service.

The United Methodist Women meet on the 1st Monday of each Month in the Fellowship Hall.

April 13 is United Methodist Women's Sunday. Members of the United Methodist Women will lead various parts of the worship service.

Interdenominational Women's Prayer Breakfast

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, September through May, Christian women from the Tybee Island churches meet for breakfast, fellowship and to hear a speaker. The host church rotates between the four churches. In September 2008 Trinity Chapel will be hosting the breakfast.
