Adults

We offer a variety of opportunities for Bible study and fellowship.

Seekers Sunday School Class

The Seekers Sunday School class meets from 9:45-10:45 AM on Sunday mornings. This group enjoys a variety of biblical and topical studies in a discussion format. Recent studies have included “women of the Bible” and “spiritual gifts.” The group meets in the smaller of our two classrooms attached to the Fellowship Hall, and is always excited to welcome new members.

Pastor’s Bible Study

Rev. Alex Tracy leads a variety of small-group, short term studies throughout the year. Recently he has led studies on Galatians and developing a healthy spirituality. He is currently leading a study titled “A Time to Laugh: The Funniest Texts in the Bible.” This study runs May 7 to June 4 and meets from 9:30-10:30 AM in the larger of our two classrooms.

Men’s “Bring Your Bible” Breakfast

This group knows what makes an early-morning Bible study easy to stomach: breakfast! We meet at Sunrise Restaurant on Butler Avenue at 7:45 AM for food, fellowship, and time in Scripture. Led by Rev. Alex Tracy, the group wraps up at 8:45 AM. We order from a limited, but yummy, menu. First-time participants are covered entirely, but as the group is growing we ask regular participants to contribute occasionally to help the church foot the bill.

United Methodist Women

Our United Methodist Women is enjoy fellowship, study, and especially leading the way in missions and outreach. They coordinate a number of fundraisers with a missions focus each year. The UMW meets on the first Thursday evening of each month, most often at our Butler Avenue campus, but occasionally at other locations. Please contact the church office for the time and location of the next meeting!
